Student Council Presidential Elections (Debate Details & Voting)

Attention MCKL-ians, The following details are concerning the debate and the voting:

Debate

The total duration of the debate will be 90 minutes long. It will be divided into two parts, each 45 mintues. Each part will have three segments, each 15 minutes long. At the end of the debate, there will be a short Q&A session from the floor.

Each candidate will have two minutes for their opening speech. The moderator will then ask a lead question to the candidates, where each candidate will have two minutes to respond accordingly. The remaining time will be allocated for pursuing deeper into the chosen topics. At the end of each segment, each candidate will be given two minutes to give their closing remarks.

The format of the debate was decided by the Electoral Commission. The moderators for this debate will be Ms. Lim Onn Gie & Mr. Eddryll Teo Leong Heng.

Voting

Period: Wed-Fri Time & Location: All day in SCroom Deadline: Fri, 2pm Requirements: Student ID is necessary to vote. Stamps will not be claimed if pink card is not presented.
