DRESS CODE RULES
Dress Code: Semi-formal
Girls:
The dress/ skirt worn must be on or below the knee cap.
Tops/blouses worn must cover the shoulders.
Exposure of the shoulders or cleavage or midsection is not allowed throughout the event.
Not allowed:
Sleeveless tops/ dresses
Halter neck tops/ dresses
Backless dresses
Strapless dresses
Off-shoulder tops/ dresses
One shoulder tops/ dresses
Low neckline tops/ dresses
Sheer stockings
5. Slits below the knees are allowed.
6. Dresses with slits above the knees are required to be pinned throughout the event.
7. If tops/ dresses are not abiding the dress code, shawls that are sheer or opaque can be used to cover the shoulder area. The shawl must stay on throughout the event.
8. Slippers, sneakers and sport shoes are not allowed as it is a semi-formal event. Footwear such as sandals with straps, heels, flats and other covered shoes are allowed.
9. Dresses of see through/ sheer material are not allowed.
10. Basic rule: sheer/ lace material = transparent. Therefore, even though the sheer/lace skirt hem reaches the floor & the opaque skirt is above the knees, it will not be accepted into the event. The opaque skirt must cover the knee caps to be allowed.
11. Female students who choose to wear a suit must follow the guy’s dress code rule listed below.
12. Traditional wear is regarded as formal wear as long as it follows the dress code rules.
13. MCKL dress code applies.
Guys:
1.T-shirts, sweaters, jerseys, polo shirts, and turtlenecks are not allowed as it is a formal event. Only button down collared shirts. Suit jackets, blazers, ties/ bow ties are not required.
Non-ripped jeans, slacks and khakis are allowed.
Ripped jeans, sweat pants, joggers and shorts are not allowed.
Pant cuffs must abide the MCKL dress code.
Sandals, slippers and sport shoes are not allowed. Only dress shoes, sneakers and other covered shoes are allowed.

See through/ sheer material is not allowed.

HOUSE RULES
Students must bring and present their student ID and E-Tickets during entry of the venue, for registration and security purposes.
Students are required to keep their wristbands on at all times for security purposes.
If your wristband is broken, please report to any SC members immediately.
The dress code rules are applicable throughout the event. No taking off shawls during the event.
Consequences of not obeying the dress code: students will not be allowed to enter the college and will be asked to either change their outfit or leave the college.
Registration time: 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Late comers will not be tolerated or entertained without prior consent.
Students are not allowed to leave the venue before the official event ends without prior consent.
The SC is not liable for any lost items during the event.
The only entrance which can be used to enter and leave the college is at Gate 1 (main gate).
Prohibited items:
Due to security reasons, all students who bring bags are subjected to mandatory spot checks.
These are the list of items that are prohibited from the event:
Alcohol
Drugs
Firecrackers
Sharp items such as knives
Lasers
Cigarettes or any other smoking devices
Gambling cards
Contraceptives
REGISTRATION
Time : 5.30pm – 6.30pm
4 registration booths : (i) CAL 1701, (ii) CAL 1707, (iii) AUSM 1608, AUSM 1701, CAL 1607, CAL 1703, ADTP, DECE, CAT & individual sign-ups, (iv) Staff, Ex- SC members & Alumni – all participants of the event are required to go to the respective booths, according to their table representative’s cohort, instead of your own, unless you signed-up individually.
If one fails to present any form of documents required, the MSN Committee has the rights to stop he/she from entering the event.
If one fails to maintain order during registration, the MSN Committee has the rights to stop he/she from entering the event.
