International Day(s) Update

Hello everyone,

After much consultation with many of the clubs, many have argued that it is a lot of work to prepare for both All Club's Day (ACD) in July and International Day. We have taken this into consideration and decided to combine International Day together with ACD, therefore lessening your burdens.

Moreover, the dates of these two events have been carried forward to the 18th to 20th of July (Tuesday - Thursday).

Firstly, do take note that there will be SGM on the 18th of July (Tuesday). During SGM, three speakers will be giving a talk in celebration of International Day.

On the 19th of July (Wednesday), all sports clubs will have a booth in a normal ACD set up. Again, your stalls should feature something International which should be easy (if stuck, use the SEA games as inspiration). 

Besides that, we hope that the sports clubs can also have their sports meetings open to all new members(optional) because changing the meeting time for that week is troublesome. This will be a great way for the new intake on the two days (19th & 20th) to play the sport and have fun. This sports showcase will be from 5-6:30 pm on the 19th and 20th of July. Do know that the sports club can choose to have their showcase on either the 19th or 20th, depending on the arrangements done.    

Meanwhile, free food will be provided in Mabel Marsh Hall from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. only on 19th of July (Wednesday), alongside with Sports Club Booth.

In addition, the non-sports clubs and country booths will be held on the 20th of July. This decision was made to ensure the burden imposed on clubs is significantly reduced as they only focus on making one booth. Also, clubs that are performing now have more time to prepare, and hopefully this extension will encourage other clubs to perform too. 

For your information, there will still be country stalls.
